The Netherlands was one of the first countries to recognize same-sex unions in 2001.  The city of Amsterdam gives the impression of a small town with a cosmopolitan aura.  A cultural feast of a city which includes the Anne Frank Museum, Rembrandt’s preserved home complete with artwork and tools he used, family merchants who run cafes, bakeries and floating flower markets,  an appreciation of exercise and biking-some of the more beautiful sites are the countryside with tours of working farms which produce cheese and those famous wooden shoes and barge living on one of the many canals which give the city it’s true originality.  It’s the perfect setting and subsequent character for the first book in my adult series entitled;  Seeing More than I can Remember. Each book reveals a different setting where international crime is solved.  LA Carlson
